Our People
Daniel Pratley
Managing Director
Daniel achieved a first class honours degree in audio engineering from Salford University and has not looked back. He’s a full member of the Institute of Acoustics (IOA). CSCS trained and recently completed courses in cyber awareness and artificial intelligence design from Manchester University. Before joining CSG he was a senior acoustic consultant at large multi nationals including WSP (London), URS (Asia Pacific Region, and design engineer for Philips Labs in Belgium. He has now been a director at CSG for 8 years, previously completing acoustic design work for them for 10 years.
He enjoys keeping fit by running and the martial art of karate, topped up by bringing up small children.
Andy Ryan – BSC/MIOA
Associate Acoustics Consultant
Andy joined CSG in 2018 and brings a wealth of knowledge. With over 15 years of experience in acoustics, noise and vibration consultancy. Working in residential, healthcare, education, offices, industrial and major infrastructure projects. In his previous roles, he has worked for large dedicated acoustic companies such as SRL and also large multi-disciplinaries such as Capita. He achieved a BSc in audio technology from the University of Salford, is a full professional member of the Institute of Acoustics and is SITMA accredited for sound testing of buildings.
Andy loves music and can be seen on the fairway or pulling on his boots for a game of football.
Gail Williams
Consultant
Previously Gail was principal sustainability consultant for WSP in Manchester and London, and senior sustainability consultant for Christchurch City Council in New Zealand. She holds a BSC in Geography and an MA Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). She’s a BREEAM Accredited Professional and LEED assessor. Gail was the assessor for the first certified BREEAM communities project in the middle east. In the 5 years at CSG, she has passed on her invaluable experience and a valued member of the team.
Gail is a keen gardner and mum to her children.
